The Art of Being

moon nectar is dedicated to redefining the narrative of wellness. we believe true transformation should be an art form. our journeys are not escapes; they are curated, sensory immersions, built on evocative locations, profound inner work, and sacred, intentional design. each one is a poetic return to the soul, grounded in inner connection with ourselves, the world around us, and refined, sensory beauty.

dominican rep. • aura alchemy

new year’s immersion, dominican rep.
12.30.25 - 1.2.26 • open to men + women

we have chosen a sanctuary where the veil is thin, where the vital, electric green of the jungle meets the turquoise sea. here, the very air is an ingredient in your transformation.

this immersion is a multi-sensory atelier for the soul. we will not just see our aura; we will compose it. we will learn to craft our own energetic signature through the sacred alchemy of scent in a bespoke perfume workshop. we will give it color and form in an intuitive art salon. we will learn to feed it in a hands-on ayurvedic nourishment class.

this is not a retreat. it is the sacred craft of becoming visible. you will leave not as someone new, but as the most potent, luminous, and authentic version of you..

joshua tree • digital detox

primal stillness, joshua tree 2.13.26 - 2.17.26 • open to women only

here, the silence speaks. this 4-day journey is a sacred disconnect, an invitation to surrender the digital noise and enter the profound, analog stillness of the high desert.

as our final public container in this sacred land, it is a potent and unrepeatable offering.

the stark, transformative beauty of this land is our canvas. the days are for solar-powered breath, silent hikes among the ancient rocks, and quiet contemplation. the nights are for cosmic sound baths under a vast, starry sky. this is an unearthing of shakti; the primal, untamed, divine feminine energy within. a journey of embodied movement, wild expression, and a potent return to your most essential self.

italy retreat

our days will be a slow, curated symphony of feeling. we will greet the sun with embodied yoga, finding our center in the stillness of the countryside. we will practice the earthy alchemy of a hands-on pasta-making class, connecting our hands to our nourishment. we will hold our meditations among the vineyards, breathing in the ancient terroir at golden hour.

we will awaken our inner creator, first by bearing witness to the masters on a private art gallery excursion, then by finding our own hand in an intimate art class.

this is a sensory reclamation. an invitation to remember that pleasure is a portal to the divine, and that to feel good is your most essential, creative, and artful state of being.

our founder

DIANA GILL

I have always been a devotee of both the ashram and the art gallery. I built moon nectar because I was searching for a wellness that spoke to all of me, the wild and the still, the sacred and the sensual. I craved experiences that were as beautiful as they were deeply transformative. these journeys are my answer, and my invitation to you.

[ TESTIMONIALS ]

“as an introvert, the idea of a 'retreat' is often my nightmare, forced sharing circles, group activities from dawn till dusk. I booked this because it promised silence and a digital pause. it was perfect. the whole structure is built on respect for personal space. I'm leaving not just rested, but extremely restored”

[ FAQ ]

FAQ’s

  • we offer several styles of retreats.

    • facilitated retreats: these are group-led experiences where a host is on-site with you for the duration. the schedule is more structured, and the focus is on group connection and guided learning.

    • self-led pauses: these are designed for maximum privacy, solitude, and personal reflection. while a host is not on-site 24/7, a remote concierge is always available. all your activities (yoga, culinary, massage) are pre-arranged, but you have more unstructured time to journal, read, and just be.

  • a digital pause is a conscious invitation to disconnect from your devices and reconnect with yourself. we encourage you to put phones, laptops, and watches away to be fully present. we do not confiscate devices, as we trust you to manage your own experience. for convenience, schedules or updates may be sent to your phone, allowing you to check once and then return to your pause.

  • we offer a variety of experiences. many of our retreats are created as sacred, women-only spaces. we are also expanding to include co-ed and men-only retreats. the intended audience for each retreat is always clearly stated on its main description page.

  • we hand-select beautiful, private homes and boutique venues known for their beautiful aesthetic, comfort, and tranquil atmosphere. we prefer intimate, private settings over large, commercial hotels.

  • your safety is our absolute priority. all properties are located in safe, vetted neighborhoods. entry codes are unique to our group for the duration of our stay and are changed immediately after each retreat. for our self-led retreats, while a host isn't sleeping on-site, our team is present daily, and our concierge is always reachable.

  • we team up with high-quality local culinary teams to provide delicious, healthy, and beautifully prepared meals that align with the retreat's theme.

  • we aim for transparency. the price you pay typically includes your accommodation, all scheduled meals (as listed on the itinerary), and all group activities listed in the retreat itinerary (like yoga, workshops, and guided hikes etc.).

  • any optional, add-on services will be clearly marked. for example, private massage sessions or one-on-one coaching are often optional extras that you can book and pay for separately to customize your experience.

  • due to the intimate size of our retreats and the significant non-recoverable costs of booking private venues and vendors far in advance, all payments are non-refundable. we strongly recommend purchasing "Cancel for Any Reason" (CFAR) travel insurance to protect your investment from any unforeseen medical, personal, or travel-related issues.

  • our website and promotional materials show the aesthetic, standard, and vibe of our brand. this includes photos from a variety of our past retreats, as well as professional images that capture the feeling of our events. the booking page for your specific retreat will always feature photos of the actual house, venue, and rooms so you know exactly what to expect.
